The central area of the deposit was defined by drilling before Rio Tinto obtained the project. The deposit is suited to conventional open pit mining. Community Engagement

The area has no sewage or sanitation services, and no electricity.  Local health facilities are rudimentary and adults tend to have low levels of education.  Community engagement is top of our agenda.  Read about community relations.
